How do I book?

Booking is simple:

  • Reserve online with a €50 deposit 

Reserve online with €50 per booking. 

  • Pay the remaining balance in cash on the day of the activity at the meeting point

Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive all important details by email.

Do I need to book in advance?

We highly recommend booking in advance to guarantee availability, especially in July and August.

However, it is often possible to book one day before or even on the same day, depending on open spaces and logistics.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Less than 7 days → non-refundable
  • More than 7 days → refund minus 21% administrative fee
  • No show → non-refundable

Prices do not include VAT and may change without prior notice.

Can I pay by card or only cash?

You pay a deposit online when booking, and the rest is paid in cash on the day of the tour.

If you need another payment solution, contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to help.

When do tours operate?

Season: April 1st to October 31st — every day

We usually offer departures in:

  • morning
  • midday
  • afternoon

Schedules may vary depending on river conditions and logistics.

What happens if the weather is bad or river levels change?

Activities operate in most weather conditions. If safety or river levels make the planned section unsafe, we will always offer the best possible alternative. This can include:

  • adjusting the river section
  • rescheduling the tour
  • or offering a voucher for a future visit

 

Please note: refunds are not available due to weather-related changes, as these conditions are beyond our control. Safety is always our top priority.

WHO CAN JOIN & GROUP DETAILS

Do I need previous rafting/kayaking experience?

No previous experience is required. Our guides explain everything before entering the river and take care of you throughout the activity.

Do I need to know how to swim?

Basic swimming ability and comfort in water are recommended.

If you’re unsure, please inform your guide at check-in so we can provide extra support.

How many people fit in one raft?

Between 2 and 8 participants per raft, depending on safety requirements, river level and weight balance.

How many inflatable kayaks per tour?

Our inflatable kayak tours operate with:

  • up to 6 boats per guide
  • maximum 12 boats in total per tour

Can I join alone?

Yes, solo travelers are welcome. The tour requires a minimum charge of 2 participants to operate.

Can I wear glasses or contact lenses?

Yes. Glasses must have a secure strap to prevent them from falling in the water. Contact lenses are generally fine, but we recommend letting your guide know if you wear them.

LOGISTICS & ON-SITE DETAILS

Is there parking? Do you offer pick-up?

Yes, parking is available.

If you’re staying in the Bovec area, we can also arrange pick-up from your accommodation, apartment, guesthouse or campsite.

Are there toilets and changing areas?

Yes. Depending on the route of the day, toilets and changing facilities are available either at the start or at the end of the tour, in the parking area where our van will be waiting.

What if I arrive late?

Tours run on schedule. Late arrivals may miss the tour and are considered a “no show.”

Whenever possible, we will try to adjust the schedule, especially in the low season, when there is usually more flexibility and availability. In high season, adjustments may be limited due to full bookings.

FAMILIES • PETS • SPECIAL OPTIONS

Is rafting suitable for families?

Yes! We offer dedicated Family Rafting on the most friendly and scenic section of the river. It’s fun, safe and perfect for first-timers.

Is Family Rafting pet friendly?

Yes! Family Rafting is the perfect section for dogs.

They should be:

  • comfortable around water
  • used to outdoor activities

 

We normally start on a raft for comfort. If everything goes well and the guide approves, guests can book another tour to try a tandem inflatable kayak with their dog.

Can I bring lunch on Full Day Rafting?

Yes.

You can:

  • bring your own packed lunch
  • or request us to organize lunch for you (available at extra cost, arranged through our office)

How cold is the river?

The Soča River is Alpine. Average temperatures:

  • Spring: 6°C – 10°C
  • Summer: 12°C – 17°C
  • Autumn: 8°C – 12°C

We provide high-quality neoprene wetsuits and shoes to keep you comfortable.

What if I have a medical condition?

Please inform us in advance about:

  • medical conditions
  • surgery history
  • allergies
  • medication

 

Bring anything you may need. Our guides are trained in rescue and emergencies.

 

Is rafting or kayaking suitable for older adults?

Please inform us in advance about:

  • medical conditions
  • surgery history
  • allergies
  • Yes. Many older guests enjoy our tours.If you’re in normal health and comfortable with outdoor activity, you are welcome to join.

Can pregnant women join?

For safety reasons, we do not recommend rafting or kayaking during pregnancy.

Is alcohol allowed before the tour?

No. Participation under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

In this case, the booking is non-refundable.

PERSONAL ITEMS & EQUIPMENT

Can I bring valuables?

It’s best not to bring unnecessary valuables.

Phones and wallets can remain safely in our support vehicle, supervised by our ground logistics navigation team.

Dry bags and waterproof boxes are available mainly for medication or essential items.

PHOTOS & MEMORIES

Do you take photos and videos?

Yes — they are included and shared immediately after the tour via:

  • AirDrop
  • GoPro card reader
  • WhatsApp
