Our Kayak Course is designed for those who want more than just a ride down the river — it’s for people who want to truly understand how to move with the water.

Set in the stunning environment of the Soča Valley, this course combines instruction, practice and real river experience in a safe and supportive setting.

You’ll learn essential kayaking skills such as balance, paddle control, river reading, safety techniques and maneuvering through currents. Our instructors guide you step by step, adapting the course to the level of the group.

We use different sections of the Soča River depending on the experience of the paddlers, which means the course works for:

• Beginners who want a strong foundation

• Intermediate paddlers looking to improve technique and confidence

• Advanced paddlers who want to refine skills and read the river better

Each day builds naturally on the previous one, allowing you to progress at your own pace while enjoying one of Europe’s most beautiful alpine rivers.

A Real Learning Experience

Each day on the course lasts around 5 hours on and around the river.

During that time we combine:

• River practice in different sections

• Coaching and technical feedback

• Reading rapids and choosing lines

• Safety exercises in the water

• Land explanations and movement drills

• A relaxed lunch break by the river

This structure allows you to practice, rest, observe and understand the river, creating a deeper learning experience than a simple river run.

By the end of the course, you won’t just have paddled the Soča — you’ll understand it.
